Healthier Neighbourhoods PCN is pleased to announce the return of its Cancer Wellbeing Event series, beginning on Tuesday 12th May at Paxton Medical Centre, Claughton.
Following the success of last year’s sessions, which were very well attended and received positive feedback from patients, the programme is being relaunched to continue supporting individuals living with cancer. The events are designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where patients can access practical advice, wellbeing support, and connect with others who may be facing similar experiences.
The series will focus on promoting physical, emotional, and social wellbeing, helping patients feel more informed, supported, and empowered throughout their cancer journey.
A spokesperson for Healthier Neighbourhoods PCN said:
"We were delighted by the response to our previous events and the positive impact they had on those who attended. It’s incredibly important that people living with cancer know that help and support are available to them. We are really looking forward to delivering this series again and continuing to make a difference in our community."
The Cancer Wellbeing Event series is open to all patients registered across the PCN ensuring that support is accessible to as many people as possible.
If you’re interested in attending, please contact your practice and ask for Tracey Leech, Cancer Care Coordinator to contact you.The group will meet every Tuesday fro Tuesday 12th May 10am-11.30am
