Healthier Neighbourhoods PCN is pleased to announce the return of its Cancer Wellbeing Event series, beginning on Tuesday 12th May at Paxton Medical Centre, Claughton.

Following the success of last year’s sessions, which were very well attended and received positive feedback from patients, the programme is being relaunched to continue supporting individuals living with cancer. The events are designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where patients can access practical advice, wellbeing support, and connect with others who may be facing similar experiences.

The series will focus on promoting physical, emotional, and social wellbeing, helping patients feel more informed, supported, and empowered throughout their cancer journey.

Patient feedback and comments from the last Cancer wellbeing event series held at Paxton Medical Group included:

'I enjoyed the amount of information that was available and the relaxed atmosphere of the group'

'The group was friendly and inviting and I found the sessions helpful and the information very useful'

'The visitIng organisations were all ery relevant for me, each one gave me useful and practical information'

'I enjoyed the structure of the groups and the inspiring speakers, plus the lovely welcome'
