A new wellbeing club to support patients with their health and lifestyle has launched.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Healthier Neighbourhoods Club, a brand-new, free health and wellbeing group designed specifically for our PCN patients.
The Healthier Neighbourhoods Club is a weekly drop-in session offering a friendly, supportive space for patients who want to prioritise their health. The group focuses on key areas such as weight loss, nutrition, setting and achieving health objectives, getting more active, and supporting mental wellbeing.
Each session will include a free weigh-in for those who wish to take part, alongside a group update and discussion on practical topics that help patients work towards their personal health goals. Sessions are designed to be inclusive, encouraging, and pressure-free — whether patients are just getting started or already on their health journey.
The club aims to make healthy lifestyle changes feel achievable and enjoyable, offering motivation, shared learning, and peer support in a relaxed environment.
A Health Coach supporting the programme said:
“I’m really looking forward to supporting patients through the Healthier Neighbourhoods Club. This is a great opportunity to work together in a fun and supportive way, helping people build confidence and make positive, lasting changes to their health.”
The Healthier Neighbourhoods Club is open to all PCN patients (from Paxton Medical Group, Heatherlands Medical Centre, Prenton and Woodchurch Medical Centre) and is completely free to attend. No booking is required — patients can simply drop in and take part.
If you’re looking for a positive, supportive way to focus on your health and wellbeing, we encourage you to join us and be part of the Healthier Neighbourhoods Club.
The first group meets on Tuesday 13th January 9.30am-10.30am at Claughton Medical Centre.
