New ADHD Group Launches To Support Patients
A new ADHD support group launched last week and is set to run for a further 9 weeks, aiming to provide vital education, support, and assistance to individuals living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The initiative brings together local neighborhood organizations and community groups, all united by the goal of enhancing the quality of life for those affected by ADHD.
The initiative offers a comprehensive approach to ADHD care, combining expert knowledge, peer support, and practical resources. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about managing symptoms, developing coping strategies, and connecting with others facing similar challenges. By fostering a supportive environment, the program hopes to reduce stigma and promote understanding throughout the community.
This collaborative effort between healthcare providers and local organisations reflects a growing recognition of the need for tailored support services for ADHD patients.
A spokesperson from Healthier Neighbourhoods commented,
"We are delighted to be rolling out this 10-week ADHD group, which we believe is an essential resource for our community. ADHD is often misunderstood and underserved, so having a dedicated program that educates and empowers patients is a significant step forward. This collaborative event, supported by key commuity organisations, ensures that individuals living with ADHD receive the comprehensive care and support they deserve."
The group welcomes new participants and encourages anyone affected by ADHD to join and benefit from this innovative program. To register please contact your GP practice.
