We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new Drop-in Social Prescribing Hub.
The Hub will launch on Wednesday 18th November running weekly until the end of January 2026.
The Hub is designed to offer friendly, practical support on a wide range of issues — from debt and benefits concerns to family challenges, social isolation, carers’ support, housing difficulties, gambling and addiction.
Our experienced Social Prescribers are here to listen and help when you need it most. They’re well connected with a host of local and neighbourhood organisations, so if further help or referrals are needed, they can make sure you’re supported in the right way.
"We know that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and not every problem has a medical solution,” said a spokesperson for the PCN. “Our Social Prescribing Hub is about offering a friendly face and a helping hand. Winter can be an extremely challenging time, connecting people to the right support at the right time can make a real difference in people's lives."
The Drop In Social Prescribing Hub launches Wednesday 18th November 9am-12noon at Paxton Medical Group, Claughton and will run weekly until the end of January 2026.
