Healthier Neighbourhoods Returns to Wirral Wellness Festival 2026

Our Healthier Neighbourhoods team is delighted to be returning to the Wirral Wellness Festival this year on the 12th & 13th September, where we'll once again be meeting residents, promoting healthier lifestyles, and connecting people with health and wellbeing support available across our communities.

Taking place this September, the festival brings together local organisations, wellbeing experts, and community groups for a day dedicated to health, wellness, and positive living. As a returning partner, we are looking forward to being part of another fantastic community event and speaking with visitors about the many ways they can improve and maintain their health and wellbeing.

Throughout the festival, our team will be on hand to chat about all things health and wellbeing, offering advice, support, and signposting to services available across our Primary Care Network (PCN). Visitors will also be able to find out more about local groups, activities, and community support services designed to help people stay well, connected, and active.

This year, we will be placing a particular focus on cancer screening as part of our campaign to improve awareness and understanding of screening programmes. Our team will be encouraging conversations around the importance of screening, helping residents understand what programmes are available, who is eligible, and why attending appointments can play a vital role in the early detection and treatment of cancer.

By providing clear information and addressing common questions or concerns, we hope to empower more people to make informed decisions about their health and take up the screening opportunities available to them.

Whether you're looking for advice on improving your wellbeing, want to learn more about local support services, or have questions about cancer screening, we'd love to see you at the festival.

We look forward to joining residents, partners, and community groups for what promises to be another inspiring and enjoyable celebration of health and wellbeing across Wirral.
